Hey everyone, So I have a 2007 Jetta Wolfsburg edition, it only has about 80k miles on it. Been maintained regularly and not driven super often sometimes, but I have had things like a fuel pump replaced, and of course general maintenance. I live about 3 hours from the Canadian border in the NE, its pretty cold here and has been the last few weeks. Within those weeks, a couple times a red temperature gauge light came on and flashed. Got a steering wheel (shaped) light, not amber but red with loud beeps. My car also wouldn't move when put in reverse. Light comes on without turning over the engine and I tried disconnecting the battery. Is this possible from just low power steering fluid or am I looking at something else? Haven't had a lot of time to look at it but I will tomorrow.

2004 Volkswagen Jetta 1.9L Diesel engine with approx 240000 miles Yesterday I was driving my car and it started overheating. I pulled over and turned the car off and poured water into the coolant tank as I did not have coolant and needed to get home. Tried to restart the engine but the battery would not fully turn over the engine. I jumped the battery with a portable jump starter I have. The engine turned over, and temperature regulated, but then my car let out the loudest screech I ever heard!... So I did a oil change on my Saab 9-5 (engine B235E) I found seeping around the serpentine belt area. Wanting a detailed list of each pulley does what with labels. Also for fun found oil intake. So I might do a PCV replacement. I think there are some missing fuses in my fuse panel but of course, i cant find a fuse panel diagram.
